By submitting a repair request or making use of our services, you agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below.

1. Service Agreement

1.1 Repair Request & Assessment

To initiate a repair, customers must complete the official Contact / Repair Request form available on our website.

All known faults, previous repairs, and machine history must be clearly disclosed. Upon receipt of the machine, Coffee Man Repairs will conduct a full diagnostic assessment to determine the required repairs.

1.2 Quotations & Approval

A preliminary estimate may be provided based on the information supplied. All estimates are subject to change following physical inspection.

No repair work will proceed without customer approval of the final quotation. Approval may be provided verbally, electronically, or in writing.

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Minimum Repair Charge

All repairs are subject to a minimum charge of R1650.00, which includes up to one (1) hour of labour.

Additional labour, diagnostics, replacement parts, and specialised services will be quoted separately where necessary.

2.2 Payment Terms

• Full payment is required upon completion of repairs and prior to collection or release of the machine.

• Machines will not be released until payment has been received in full.

• Accepted payment methods are listed on our website.

2.3 Storage & Uncollected Machines

Customers will be notified once repairs are complete. Machines must be collected within 14 days of notification.

Machines not collected within 90 days may be considered abandoned. Coffee Man Repairs reserves the right to sell, dismantle, or dispose of abandoned machines in order to recover outstanding repair, labour, and storage costs.

3. Warranty

3.1 Warranty Coverage

All completed repairs and refurbished machines carry a 90-day warranty covering parts and labour directly related to the repair performed.

3.2 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

• Misuse or negligence

• Lack of maintenance or excessive scale build-up

• Use of inappropriate materials (including oily beans)

• Electrical surges or external damage

• Normal wear and tear

• Commercial use of machines intended for domestic use

• Third-party interference after repair

Warranty is strictly limited to components replaced or serviced by Coffee Man Repairs.

3.3 Warranty Claims

Coffee Man Repairs may require the machine to be returned for inspection before approving any warranty claim. Repairs carried out by third parties will void the warranty.

4. Returns and Cancellations

4.1 Refurbished Machine Returns

Unused refurbished machines may be returned within 30 days for a refund, less any applicable handling or processing fees.

Used machines are subject to inspection and may incur a 10% restocking fee.

4.2 Repair Cancellations

If a repair is cancelled before work begins, a full refund will be issued (if payment was made in advance).

If repairs have already commenced, customers will be responsible for payment for labour and parts incurred up to the cancellation date.

5. Additional Repairs & Unrepairable Machines

5.1 Additional Faults

Should additional issues be identified during the repair process, a revised quotation will be provided. No additional work will proceed without customer approval.

5.2 Unrepairable Machines

In some cases, a machine may be deemed beyond economical repair. Customers remain responsible for labour already completed.

Customers may elect to:

• Collect the machine, or

• Sell the machine to Coffee Man Repairs for parts, subject to mutual agreement.

6. Limitation of Liability

Coffee Man Repairs shall not be liable for:

• Loss of income or business interruption

• Indirect or consequential damages

• Pre-existing faults not visible during initial inspection

• Damage arising after collection

Liability is limited to the value of the repair service provided.

7. Amendments to Terms

Coffee Man Repairs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
